Cpl. Laura Langdeau's Purple Heart Presentation

The Commandant of the Marine Corps presents Cpl. Laura Langdeau with a Purple Heart Medal and Purple Heart Citation, for wounds received in Iraq, at the Bethesda Hospital on April 17th 2004. Cpl. Langdeau is currently home on convalescent leave. We pray for her speedy recovery.
Cpl. Langdeau joined the Marine Corps in 2001. After training she was stationed in Okinawa for 1 year. In April 2004 she was deployed to Iraq. In Iraq she worked in Administration and Maintence in the 775th Cobra Squadron. Messages of thanks to her or messages welcoming her home can be relayed through chapter #1 Adjutant Burke Ross.
On Saturday June 5th MOPH Chapter #1 presented Cpl. Langdeau with a Certificate of Appreciation for her service to her country and for her sacrifice for freedom. Laura is the first serviceperson wounded in Iraq to join MOPH Chapter #1.
