A donation to the Secret Santa for $100.00 was approved. The Secret Santa fund provides presents for patients at the VA hospitals in Connecticut.

Bingo For Patients at West Haven VA Hospital
Chapter One will sponsor a Bingo at West Haven VA Hospital on November 26th. Canteen books (patients are able to exchange the canteen books for items they need in the hospital gift shop) will be given to the patients as prizes for the bingo games. The chapter also will provide the food, fruit, milk and coffee to the patients.

A DAV appeal was read for Volunteers and Dollars for Standdown 2004. Doherty and Ross were appointed for the committee. Commander Doherty spoke of the attempt to get a bus for the WW2 monument dedication in 2004. He will keep us informed on the progress.

Some members plan to attend the Red, White and Blue Mass in Norwich, and the Magnet School in Bridgeport on November Friday,7th. We meet at the hall at 8:30AM.
